Three facing murder, robbery charges in connection with April homicide on Central Avenue
UPDATE: Michael Mighty, Jr, Eli Rosa, and Jamol Jackson all qualified for a public defender for murder and robbery charges. They are scheduled to meet for court appointed council on June 20 will meet for a preliminary hearing June 21.
All three entered a not guilty plea entered on behalf by Judge Miller and were not granted bail.
Rochester, N.Y. – Three people have been arrested in connection with an April homicide on Central Avenue.
23-year-old Michael Mighty, Jr., 21-year-old Eli Rosa and 23-year-old Jamol Jackson have been arrested on two counts of second degree murder and one count of first degree robbery each.
On April 17, Melvin White was shot and killed outside 269 Central Avenue.
Rochester Police say Mighty and Rosa were arrested Thursday with the help of the Rochester Police Tactical Unit and SWAT Team. They said Jackson had been incarcerated in the Monroe County Jail since April 22 on unrelated charges.
The three suspects are scheduled to be arraigned Friday morning in Rochester City Court.
