Three Heads Brewing collaborates with RIT for new beer
Rochester, N.Y. (WHAM) - A Rochester-based brewery is about to get its Tiger on.
Three Heads Brewing announced Monday it will be collaborating with RIT on a new India Pale Ale release.
The Tiger Blood India Pale Ale is flavored with blood oranges and will make its debut in cans at the Gene Polisseni Center during the RIT men’s hockey game on Friday, November 10.
The brewery and RIT Catering decided to come together on the idea for an RIT-themed beer to serve at RIT events.
RIT alumni Al Firlit and David Moffitt created artwork for more than 30 of the brewery's labels, including the Tiger Blood IPA.
“Three Heads has a strong reputation, and when we learned how many RIT connections they had, they seemed like a natural fit to work with,” said Todd Raethka, operations manager of RIT Catering. “We take pride in our alumni, so working with a brewery with so many close ties to RIT alumni made this a natural fit.”
The beer will be available on draft, six packs of 16 oz. cans and cases.
RIT hockey fans will get a first taste on Friday and Saturday uring the men’s home games against Robert Morris University.
