Town of Irondequoit reissues state of emergency
Irondequoit, N.Y. – The Town of Irondequoit reissued its state of emergency, related to lakeshore flooding, Friday.
According to the latest report from the Army Corps of Engineers, Lake Ontario is still about nine inches above flood levels.
It’s expected to recede by nearly a foot over the next month.
The town will continue to monitor levels on the lake and Irondequoit Bay.
