Rochester, N.Y. (WHAM) - Traffic was backed up for several hours on Rt. 490 heading both east and west after a tractor trailer flipped over Monday afternoon.

The tractor trailer flipped near South Avenue around 2:45 p.m.

The trailer was filled with packaged peat moss at the time of the crash.

Both eastbound and westbound lanes were briefly reduced to one lane due to a light pole that was hit.

Folks who work nearby were amazed no one else was injured or other vehicles impacted when the tractor trailer slid across two lanes.

No one was injured in the crash, and the scene has since been cleared.

State Police issued a ticket for speed not reasonable to 24-year-old Keegan Willies, the driver.
