Rochester, N.Y. (WHAM) - Monroe County Executive Cheryl Dinolfo, along with Seneca Park Zoo Officials, have announced the arrival of two juvenile California sea lions.

Two female 1-year-old sea lions, Daley and Mary Lou, were born at SeaWorld Orlando and transferred to the Seneca Park Zoo earlier this month.

Daley and Mary Lou are now on exhibit in the Zoo's Rocky Coast habitat.

“Our happy-go-lucky sea lions are always some of the most popular, entertaining attractions for families visiting the Zoo,” said Dinolfo. “After our recent contest to name Bob generated such great community interest, garnering thousands of votes and suggestions, I am thrilled to welcome Daley and Mary Lou to their loving new home alongside Lily and Bob.”

To celebrate the arrival of Daley and Mary Lou, the Zoo Society has introduced a California sea lion ZooParent package, which funds enrichment items that provide mental and physical stimulation to help keep the animals at the Zoo strong and healthy.

The Zoo is open every day from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and you can stay on grounds until 4 p.m.
