Perinton, N.Y. (WHAM) - A Rochester woman was arrested and charged with 12 separate crimes for a wrong way crash on Rt. 490 East last month.

Marissa Pecora, 26, was charged with three counts of DWI, assault 3rd, reckless driving, no interlock, unlawful entering of an expressway, violation of conditional license, disobeying a traffic control device, wrong way on a one way, failure to keep right, and open container.

The charges stem from a crash around 1:50 a.m. on November 1 on Rt. 490 East.

According to the Monroe County Sheriff's Office, Pecora drove west in the eastbound lane and crashed into a tractor trailer between the Bushnell's Basin and Route 31 exits. Deputies say she was driving her grandfather's vehicle at the time.

The driver of the rig escaped before the truck became fully engulfed in flames.

Court documents show Pecora was arrested ten months ago in Farmington on DWI and aggravated DWI charges.

Pecora was arrested on January 22 on Plastermill Road. She pleaded guilty to that charged and had her license revoked for six months at her sentencing.

Monroe County Sheriff's deputies said no drugs, aside from alcohol, were a factor in the crash.

Pecora was issued a ticket to appear in Perinton Town Court on January 9, 2018, at 4:30 p.m.
