Wegmans recalls cookies sold at East Ave. store

Rochester, N.Y. – Wegmans has issued a voluntary recall of three-ounce Old Chocolate Chip Cookies sold in the sub shop and café at its East Avenue location.

The company said undeclared walnuts may have been in the cookies and could pose a risk for those who are allergic.

The cookies were sold individually or as part of a sub shop combo.

The products in question have a UPC of 7789037986.

Wegmans stresses that the recall applies only to the East Avenue location. All affected customers are asked to return the products to the store service desk.
