Thousands of baby bath seats recalled due to drowning hazard
(WHAM) - A bath seat/chair has been recalled by the Consumer Product Safety Commission Friday.
The Lexibook® Baby Bath Seats and Chairs fail to meet the federal safety standard. According to the recall notice, the seats are unstable and can tip over while a baby is in it, posing a drowning hazard to babies.
Nearly 7,000 of the seats were recalled. The notice said they were sold through Young Explorers, Amazon.com, Wayfair, and Unbeatable Sale, Inc.
Consumers will be able to obtain a refund. More information can be found on the CPSC website.
