Buffalo men plead guilty to drug charges
Rochester, N.Y. – Two Buffalo men pleaded guilty in Rochester Federal Court Tuesday to conspiracy charges related to drugs.
Connor Dempsey, 20, pleaded guilty to conspiring to maintain a drug involved premises, while Joel Jacob, 21, pleaded guilty to conspiring to possess with intent to distribute MDMA.
Prosecutors said, last August, Jacob signed for a package delivered during a controlled delivery that was made to his and Dempsey’s residence on Campus Drive in Buffalo. The package, which contained more than 180 grams of MDMA, was sent from Germany and purchased with bitcoins.
During a search of the residence, officers said they found marijuana, LSD, cocaine, THC, Xanax and ketamine, as well as drug paraphernalia such as scales and baggies.
The defendants are scheduled to be sentenced on August 16.
