Syracuse, N.Y. – With record crowds anticipated at The Great New York State Fair this weekend, fair organizers are suggesting an alternate route for visitors to avoid traffic.

Organizers say visitors coming from Rochester, Buffalo and the Finger Lakes may encounter heavy traffic on Route 690, the fair’s direct route.

They’re encouraging drivers to use Park-N-Ride lots at Destiny USA and other areas to avoid the congestion. Centro will provide direct service to the fair from these locations.
