Vaping, e-cigarettes now banned indoors in New York
Albany, N.Y. (WHAM) - Starting Wednesday, vaping and electronic cigarettes will be banned from certain indoor areas in New York.
A bill signed into law next month took effect Wednesday and expands the indoor smoking ban in New York to include vaping.
Under the law, e-cigarettes and other so-called "vape" products will be prohibited from bars, restaurants and workplaces.
Three other states in the U.S. have banned vaping in public places.
