Rochester, N.Y. - Rochester Police say a worker was trapped in a vehicle after a snow plow pulled down power lines and two utility poles.

According to police, a private contractor, who was using a dump truck and front loader, knocked down the lines and broke the poles while removing snow.

It happened around 1:25 a.m. Saturday on Industrial Street.

Police say the wires came down on top of the work vehicle and trapped the worker inside. The worker was freed when the Rochester Fire Department and RG&E arrived on scene.

The worker was not injured.

RG&E says the power has been restored to customers affected by the crash.
