Teen shot in Rochester, expected to recover

Rochester, N.Y. – Police in Rochester are investigating after a 15-year-old was shot Wednesday afternoon.

Police said the shooting happened in front of 1306 Dewey Avenue. They said the teen walked into Rochester General Hospital around 4:40 p.m.

Police said the teen was shot in the lower body and is expected to recover.

There is no word yet on whether an arrest has been made.
