Outdoor Training Ride Schedule
Warmer temperatures have finally arrived in Rochester, and legions of cyclists are taking to local roads and bike paths to train for the 2013 Tour de Cure, which will take place on June 2 at Monroe Community College.
There is a cycling route for riders of all fitness levels and abilities, from a 3-mile family ride, to 15, 25, and 40-mile rides, a 62.5-mile (100K) and a 100-mile (century) ride. Cycling routes of varying lengths have been planned across the area, with starting points in Pittsford, Perinton, Victor, Mendon, Webster, Spencerport and elsewhere.

"There's no better way to celebrate spring than getting on your bike and making a commitment to help the 2013 Rochester Tour de Cure reach our $1 million goal," said Travis Heider, executive director, Upstate New York, American Diabetes Association. "We already have more than 1,600 riders of all ages and abilities registered -- if you can pedal a bike, you can make a difference. We’d love to see even greater community participation in this record-breaking year."
