Bills are halfway to playoffs, but finishing the job won't be easy
The Buffalo Bills finished the first half of the season 5-3.
If they can repeat that record during the second half of the year, they'll likely make the playoffs with a 10-6 record.
But things are about to get substantially more difficult.
Buffalo's next four games are against teams with a combined record of 21-12, including a week 10 matchup with the 6-2 Saints.
New Orleans has won six in a row after starting the season 0-2.
In addition to those games, Buffalo still has to play the Patriots twice.
There is good news. It appears both tight end Charles Clay and cornerback E.J. Gaines could be back for the game against the Saints. And wide receiver Kelvin Benjamin will make his debut with the team Sunday as well, barring injury.
Still no update as of Sunday on the status of rookie Zay Jones, however. The wide receiver hurt his knee in the loss to the Jets.
