Bills fans say "thank you" to Andy Dalton by giving back
The Buffalo Bills did all they could to get into the playoffs and snap their 17-season drought.
But if it wasn't for Andy Dalton, it wouldn't have mattered.
Dalton's 49 yard touchdown pass to Tyler Boyd on 4th and 12 with less than a minute to go proved to be the difference in the Bengals win over the Ravens. Baltimore's loss was the final nail in the drought's coffin.
The Bills said "thank you" to Dalton and the Bengals on Twitter Sunday night.
But Bills fans took it a step further on Monday.
In the hours after the Bengals win, Dalton noticed something. An influx of donations to he and his wife's charity, The Andy and Jordan Dalton Foundation. The two founded the charity to help provide physically challenged or severely ill children and their families with support, opportunities, and life-changing experiences.
Many of the donations were coming in 17 dollar increments. It was obvious why.
The hours passed, and the donations kept coming...
...and, you guessed it, coming.
As of Tuesday afternoon, the donations had surpassed $100,000.
#BillsMafia has come up big for the Bills for years. On Monday, they came up big for Dalton after he came up big for them.
