Bills' top draft pick giving back to his mom
Buffalo, N.Y. – The Buffalo Bills signed their top draft pick to a contract Thursday. And the first thing Tre’Davious White is going to do with the money is buy something for his mom.
White grew up in what he describes as a poverty-stricken area of Shreveport, Louisiana. He said graduating high high school is like graduating college for most people.
He didn’t just graduate; he was valedictorian.
He didn’t just go to college; he was on a full scholarship to LSU, where he just got his diploma.
He gives much of the credit to his family, especially his mother, for sacrificing things for herself to help him and his family. So, now that he has his contract and substantial signing bonus, the first thing he will do is buy a new house for his mom.
