Cordy Glenn returns to practice, but remains day-to-day
Bills left tackle Cordy Glenn returned to practice on Sunday, but the Bills are continuing to proceed with caution with the anchor of their offensive line.
Head coach Sean McDermott said before practice that Glenn will continue to be evaluated on a daily basis, despite being medically cleared to return.
Glenn missed practice on Thursday and Friday, and flew to Charlotte to get a second opinion on his ailing foot Friday. McDermott said at that point that they could not rule out surgery.
But despite the cautious approach, this is undeniably good news for the Bills. Glenn ranked as one of the league's top offensive linemen in 2016, despite playing in just 11 games.
He said after practice that his foot felt good, and that he was trusting the process that the team was using with him.
It is unclear whether or not Glenn will play in the team's preseason opener on Thursday night against Minnesota.
