Josh Allen arrives in Buffalo with a chip on his shoulder
Josh Allen has always been a guy who doesn't get a lot of love.
Sounds strange when talking about the seventh overall pick of the draft, I know. But ask Bills fans how they feel about the pick, and you'll understand.
Many fans are not happy with the Bills' selection of the former Wyoming quarterback with the seventh overall pick, instead preferring the more polished Josh Rosen, who was there for the taking.
But this is nothing new for the newest Bills quarterback. Allen, who grew up on a farm in rural California, had no collegiate offers to play football coming out of high school. He then went to junior college, after which he would receive just one offer from the University of Wyoming.
The Bills are going to give him a lot of money, and soon, in the hopes that he will become the franchise quarterback they are so desperately seeking. But when they do, Allen promises, he won't stop playing with the chip on his shoulder he's developed over the years.
