Zay and Tre bond to build Bills
Pittsford, N.Y. – The Buffalo Bills are gearing up for Thursday’s session at training camp. They’ll be back in Orchard Park Friday, but will return to St. John Fisher College on Sunday.
LeSean McCoy was back on the field Wednesday after a stomach issue the day before. Safety Micah Hyde left practice briefly with an injury, but quickly returned.
One person who’s been impressing at training camp is wide receiver Zay Jones. The second round pick out of East Carolina has been penciled in as the number two wide receiver. But Sammy Watkins better watch out – his goals are higher than being #2.
Thursday’s practice is scheduled for 8:45 a.m. You will not need a ticket.
The only player the Bills selected in the 2017 NFL Draft before Jones was former Louisiana State cornerback Tre'Davious White. Despite playing on different sides of the ball, Jones and White are helping each other acclimate to the professional game.
