Andre Reed is known in NFL circles as one of the greatest wide receivers to ever play the game of football. Popular opinion was Reed belonged in the Hall of Fame.
On Saturday night in Canton, justice was served.
Reed was given his bust at the pro football hall of fame on Saturday. His coach Marv Levy presented Reed, who then spoke for nearly 45 minutes about his blue collar upbringing, his lack of geographical knowledge when it came to Buffalo, his teammates, and of course Jim Kelly.
Perhaps the biggest cheers came when Reed prolaimed the Bills are staying in Buffalo.
Reed said in his speech that "12 plus 83 equals six", in reference to the touchdowns he caught from Jim Kelly. He ended his speech catching another pass from his inspirational quarterback.
