Super Bowl XLVIII in New York City will feature the Denver Broncos and the Seattle Seahawks.
Peyton Manning led the Broncos to a 26-16 win over Tom Brady and the Patriots. Manning threw for 400 yards and two touchdowns in the win. It will be his third Super Bowl Appearance.
The Seattle Seahawks will be making just their second Super Bowl appearance after a 23-17 win over San Francisco. Richard Sherman broke up a pass in the end zone with less than thirty seconds left, leading to the game-clinching interception for Seattle. Colin Kaepernick turned it over three times in the fourth quarter.
Denver and Seattle were the top seeds in their respective conferences, making this just the third time in the last 21 years that the Super Bowl will feature the top seeds from each conference.
It also marks the first time in 24 years that the top offense in the league (Denver) will play for the Super Bowl against the league's top defense (Seattle). The last such matchup was in 1990 between the Giants and Bills.
