The Rochester Red Wings continued their recent trend of .500 baseball splitting a double header with Buffalo.
The Wings won game one 6-3, before losing game two 7-3.
Rochester sent Trevor May to the hill in game one, and after a rough start, the star righty settled down. But May gave up a 3-run shot in the first, putting Rochester in a quick 3-0 hole.
It would stay that way until the fifth when Rochester finally broke through. Deibenson Romero picked up the Red Wings' first hit of the game with a triple. Numerous hits and four runs later, the Red Wings had a 4-3 lead. They would tack on two more, winning 6-3.
It was the same story early in game two. Scott Diamond had a rough first inning, giving up a quick three runs, putting the Wings down 3-0 almost immediately.
Rochester would get within one thanks to a Josmil Pinto homerun, but Buffalo broke the game open in the fourth, before winning 7-3.
