Dan Rohlfing is valuable to the Rochester Red Wings in part because of his versatility.
That versatility was on display Sunday night in Louisville when the utility player was asked to play closer for a night.
Rohlfing allowed one hit in a scoreless inning, picking up the save in the Red Wings 6-5, 15 inning win Sunday night.
Pedro Florimon's RBI triple in the top of the 15th proved to be the game-winner.
Rochester took an early 4-0 lead, but fell behind 5-4 heading into the ninth inning. But Wilkin Ramirez's RBI single extended the game late into the night, where Rochester would eventually pick up its second straight win.
With the victory, Rochester moved within a half game of Syracuse for the lead in the North Division, and regained the outright lead in the Wild Card race.
