Victor advances to fourth straight state title game with 18-3
Few things in life are certain, but Victor lacrosse playing for a state championship seems to be one of them.
The Blue Devils routed East Syracuse Minoa 18-3 in the Class B state semis on Wednesday, setting up a fourth consecutive trip to the state title game, where Victor will hope to bring home its fourth consecutive championship trophy.
The game started with a surprise when goalie Chayse Ierlan raced down the field with the ball and fired it home for the opening goal less than a minute in.
Then the dominating offense and defense took over, as the senior-heavy Blue Devils overwhelmed their young opponents in every facet of the game.
