Despite trailing the Corning-Painted Post East baseball team by a score of 1-0 going into the bottom of the fifth inning, Webster Schroeder moved to 7-0 on the season with a victory by a score of 6-1. In the bottom of the fifth inning, Binghamton commitment Shane Marshall pulled off what ended up being the game-winning run by scoring from second base on a passed ball while knocking off the glove of the pitcher at home plate.
