Dominic Bozzelli finishes t-3 at Valspar Championship
Pittsford native Dominic Bozzelli already had one top five finish in his young PGA Tour career. He added a top three to his resume on Sunday.
Bozzelli shot a 4-under 67 on Sunday, finishing tied for third at -12 at the Valspar Championship, two shots behind winner Adam Hadwin.
Bozzelli entered the round six shots behind Hadwin, but enjoyed a highlight filled five birdie, one bogey afternoon.
The 25-year-old's previous best finish was fifth at the Career Builder Challenge in January.
With the third place finish, Bozzelli earned $365,000 dollars, vaulting up the money list and Fed Ex Cup rankings in the process. He is currently the 233rd ranked golfer in the world.
