Local Basketball Skills Camp Shows "Steph Effect" in Rochester

The concept of the "Steph Effect" entails basketball at all levels transitioning over the last chunk of years from being predominantly about traditional big men, dunking and traditional positions to being predominantly about positionless basketball, dribbling, perimeter shooting and even a jelly layup or two. The reach of the "Steph Effect" could be seen in the basketball skills camp put on recently by one of the very best dribbling coaches in the world in Tyler Relph (received the Mr. Basketball award for New York State in 2003) and current McQuaid Jesuit boys basketball head coach Jack Leasure (second nationally in perimeter shooting percentage behind J.J. Redick as a sophomore playing for Coastal Carolina) at their high school alma mater.
