Don Beebe throws out first pitch at Red Wings game
Don Beebe played six years with the Buffalo Bills before moving on to the Panthers and eventually the Packers.
Monday, he made his way to Rochester.
The former NFL wide receiver threw out the first pitch ahead of game two of the Red Wings doubleheader against Charlotte on Monday night.
Beebe caught 23 career touchdowns, and became the first player in NFL history to play in six Super Bowls.
But his most famous play undoubtedly came with the Bills in Super Bowl XXVII, when he stripped Leon Lett of the football just before the big defensive lineman was able to rumble into the end zone.
