Shooting causes chaotic scene in Rochester

Rochester, N.Y. - Four people were shot early Thursday, and a fifth person was struck by a vehicle after violence erupted in Rochester.

Police said that a dispute occurred between a group of people near 214 Andrews St. shortly after 2:00 a.m. During the fight, shots were fired.

In total, four people were shot - two 23-year-old men and two 25-year-old men. One of the 23-year-old victims sustained life-threatening injuries after being shot in the upper body. The wounds suffered by the other three men are not considered life-threatening.

While the fights were happening in the area, a vehicle struck a pedestrian, causing minor injuries. The driver fled the scene.

All five victims in are being treated at Strong Memorial Hospital. There are no suspects custody.
