Regents exams rescheduled

New York For the first time, some school closings were not welcomed by students.

Students who had a snow day Monday and were scheduled to take Regents exams, will now have to wait until June to take the tests.

Schools can still give Regents exams, even if they are closed. The State Education Department guidelines allow Regents exams to be given if schools are closed due to bitter cold weather but roads are still passable.

More Regents exams are scheduled for Tuesday.
