Senior helps neighbors clear snow

Henrietta, N.Y. -- For some people, Wednesdays blizzard was a chance to help out their neighbors.

Clint Stone of Henrietta will turn 80 next month, but that doesnt keep him from snow blowing his driveway and his neighbors -- several times per day if necessary.

Stone usually does the same for some of his friends in Irondequoit, but didnt make the trip north due to the storm. He called it one of the biggest storms he can ever recall hitting the Rochester area, but said he doesnt mind keeping active.

The snows a little heavy, so I have to lower the gear a little, but no its fine, he said. Ill do it now and Ill do it in the morning.

Stone also cuts lawns for his friends and neighbors when snow isnt covering the ground. Although hes happy to help clear the snow, Stone said hes ready for spring -- especially after mild weather came to the area Tuesday, just prior to the storm.

Yeah, definitely, he said. Im ready for yesterday. That was great.
