Country star helps raise money for local school

Henrietta, N.Y. -- Country music fans gathered at Nashville's in Henrietta Tuesday night to raise money for a good cause.

Country music star Danielle Bradberry performed at the benefit, which raised money for local students who had their instruments stolen.

Money raised will replace instruments that police said music teacher Danielle Conner-Willowglade stole from the Keshequa Central School District.

Organizer Billy Kidd of WBEE-FM said he put together the benefit because the story broke his heart.

"Seeing things like this ... it just shows them that there's still a lot of good in this world," he said.

The event raised more than $5,000 for Keshequa's music program.
