Local school practices emergency preparedness

Henrietta, N.Y. -- Students with intellectual and developmental disabilities at the School of the Holy Childhood are now better prepared to handle an emergency, thanks to a training session Wednesday.

They learned how to get out of a burning building with the help of the Henrietta Fire Department's Smokehouse.

They also learned how to deal with medical emergencies, thanks to the members of Henrietta Volunteer Ambulance.

The students learned important information and had fun at the same time.
