GM issues more recalls

Detroit -- General Motors issued another round of recalls as its CEO prepares to testify before Congress Tuesday about a separate recall.

This time, the recall focuses on concerns that power steering could fail on some Chevrolet, Saturn and Pontiac models dating back to 2004.

Tuesday, CEO Mary Barra will face questions about the companys handling of faulty ignition switches that took the company more than a decade to acknowledge.

Thirteen deaths have been linked to the problem.

At a meeting with families Monday night, Barra met with family members of the victims and apologized. Many of those she met with say they do not want any apologies at Tuesdays hearing -- rather, they want answers.

GM is still investigating whether newly discovered power-steering problems have caused any accidents or injuries. So far, the company said no deaths have been linked to the new recall.
