Man arrested for Facebook post

El Paso, Texas -- A Texas man has been arrested after making obscene comments on Facebook that circulated online.

Miguel Yanez, 35, posted on his Facebook account that two young girls had performed sexual acts on him.

Many online users that came across Yanez's post were alarmed and requested help from police and KFOX14.

El Paso County sheriff's deputies placed Yanez under arrest Thursday.

Yanez, who lives at 447 S. Schutz St., was booked into the El Paso County Detention Center under a $10,000 bond.

Deputies said there is no evidence at this point that indicate any person(s) were victimized, as stated in Yanez's Facebook comments.

Officials with the sheriff's office said any communication by telephone, in writing, or by electronic communication any comments, requests, suggestions, or proposal that is obscene with the intent to harass, annoy, alarm, abuse, torment, or embarrass another is against the law

Yanez was charged with harassment, according to the El Paso County Sheriff's Office.
