Study finds possible benefit of alcohol

Cambridge, Mass. -- Research conducted at Harvard University indicated alcohol may reduce a womans chance of rheumatoid arthritis.

The study found that women who consumed two to four beers a week reduced their chances of developing the disease by nearly one-third.

Researchers cautioned that excessive drinking does not have the same benefits and could lead to other health risks.
