Lunesta ordered to lower starting dosage

Washington -- The Food and Drug Administration have ordered manufacturers of the sleeping pill Lunesta to cut the starting dosage for the drug in half.

The FDA said the drug could lead to drowsiness in the morning.

Doctors said that could impact a patients ability to drive and cause injury.

Lunestas manufacturer said it will lower the starting dosage from 2 milligrams to 1.
