Three Canadian officers shot to death

Moncton, New Brunswick (AP) -- Police said three officers are dead, two others are injured and they are searching for a suspect after a shooting in the Canadian province of New Brunswick.

The Royal Canadian Mounted Police confirmed three officers were dead and two others had sustained non-life-threatening injuries after the shooting Wednesday night.

Police said they were looking for Justin Bourque, 24, of Moncton.

The police force tweeted an image of a suspect wearing military camouflage and wielding two guns.

Constable Damien Theriault said police are urging people in the area to stay inside their homes and lock their doors.

Drivers were also asked to stay out of the area.
