Hackers in Hollywood
Los Angeles – Some big stars in Hollywood are getting a lot of unwanted exposure after hackers posted nude photos of them online.
It appears that the alleged hacker may have accessed at least some of the photos from a “cloud” where users photos are supposed to remain private.
“Even if you have deleted those photos from your phone, often times they’ve already been uploaded to the cloud. When you deleted them from the phone, they continued to exist,” said Professor Clifford Neuman, Director of USC’s Center for Computer System Security.
Experts say if one of your digital accounts is hacked and you’re using the same password for your cloud client, hakers can also gain access to what is on your cloud.
