Brighton-Henrietta Townline Road Open Again

Brighton/Henrietta, N.Y. - UPDATE: Brighton-Henrietta Townline Road opened again shortly before 7 a.m., as confirmed by our crew on the scene.

Brighton-Henrietta Townline Road [was] closed to traffic after a dump truck crash there Monday afternoon.

Rochester Gas and Electric crews worked to restore power to about 150 customers in the Brighton and Henrietta areas.

Monroe County Sheriff's Deputies said the driver forgot to put down the truck bed—and brought down wires and 12 utility poles while driving down the road.

The driver is expected to be okay.

We’ve received no word on whether he will face charges.
