Modem fees rising for Time Warner customers

Rochester, N.Y. - A second increase in less than a week is coming for some Time Warner internet customers.

The company is raising the fee to lease a modem by two dollars to six dollars, starting next month.

Last week, the internet provider announces a three dollar rate increase for customers who didn't have a promotional package.

Customers can avoid the modem fee by buying their own Time Warner-approved modem.
