Man killed outside of car on 390 identified

Henrietta, N.Y. The Monroe County Sheriff's Department has released the name of the man killed Sunday evening shortly before 7 p.m. on Interstate 390, outside of his vehicle.

He has been identified as 59-year-old Warren Grosjean of Honeoye Falls.

Monroe County Sheriff's deputies say Grosjean was outside of his car near exit 12B, fixing what is presumed to be a loose luggage rack.

Authorities say one car swerved to avoid him but a second car struck him.

Grosjean was dead when sheriffs deputies arrived on scene.

An investigation is ongoing at this time.
