PGA village built and fans ready

Rochester, N.Y. - It takes a village to host a PGA tournament and they have built one at Oak Hill Country Club. There are tents, hospitality suites and much more.

While the greens are being manicured, the shelves in the merchandise tent are being stocked with everything golf. From shirts and hats to golf balls and tees.

The tent is huge. 31,000 square feet. It is right near the main entrance and is expected to be a place where everyone stops to shop.

Hot-ticket items include Nike golf shirts which pros like Tiger Woods will wear during the tournament. They are expected to sell-out.

Bob Jeffrey is in charge of merchandise for the PGA, he said Rochester fans love their golf and love to shop.

He expects to sell 80,000 hats and 20,000 shirts.

Stacie Muldoon has tickets for the PGA all week.

She will be there both as a fan and with her accounting firm's hospitality suite.

Muldoon said this is special for her. She grew up golfing at Oak Hill, and her father has been a member there for 30 years.

She hopes to meet pros like Phil Mickelson.

She and her husband rented a parking space near Oak Hill on Kilbourn Road, so they won't have to take the shuttle.

She is excited about this event and said it will be a family affair for her as well as a way to meet clients.
