New Season, new hope - Bills camp begins

Pittsford, N.Y. The Buffalo Bills and their supporters flooded the St. John Fisher campus, Sunday.

Fans say they have hope for this season - hope for a winning season, hope for a spot in the play-offs.

This is our team this is the first look at the bills, said Nathaniel Needem, a diehard Bills fan who waiting at the entrance gate with friends.

I got my belt - super fan belt - my cape and of course the centerpiece, the mask, said Joe Hart, who was head to toe in Bills gear.

Super fan, Hart, and his friends cheered for every player as though they were taking the field for a game, not heading to the locker room before practice.

Even without a playoff appearance in over a decade loyalty is not lacking.

2013 is a brand new season, we're ready to recharge, said Needem.

I got ten and six wildcard playoffs baby, that's how we do said fan Everett Vetter.

Inside the stadium it was standing room only as fans got a first glimpse of the team.

It's looking good, I'm excited for the season, said fan Christian Lamarco.

Fans are looking forward to the season of change - with a new coach, new quarterback, and renewed expectations.

I hope EJ Manuel pans out, said Lamarco.

I think for now Kobb has got to start, said Ron Morano, [got to] start with the experienced quarterback.

He [Doug Marrone] knows Buffalo, said Vetter. He knows what we've been through. I'm just excited to see what he can do.

 Hope is alive, right? said fan Mark Turner. And so this is why we're here for a new season, a new beginning and this could be our time.
