Kodak reported loss in second quarter

Rochester, N.Y. - Eastman Kodak reported a $157 million loss for the second quarter in an earnings report on Wednesday.

The loss is an improvement over the $306 million dollar loss that the company reported in the second quarter of 2012.

The earnings report comes as Kodak hopes to emerge from bankruptcy as soon as next month.

Kodak CEO Antonio Perez said that the earnings are a sign of progress, and that the company's restructuring plans remain on track.
