Woman accused of Obama threats arrested

The Rochester woman indicted for threatening to kill President Obama was arrested and charged with violating the conditions of her pre-trial release.

U.S. Attorney William Hochul said Christine Wright Darrisaw, 37, was detained after several recent arrests and run-ins with police.

According to the government motion, Darrisaw was arrested by Rochester police officers for disorderly conduct on July 12. On July 25, a warrant was issued by her arrest after investigators said she entered the Rochester Library, which she is banned from.

In a written statement, Hochuls office said that, on August 12, Darrisaw threatened another person at the Webster Avenue Rec Center, telling the victim My husband has guns. Im gonna shoot you! Ill shoot every guy here, and Ill kill anyone that touches my kids! According to the State Attorney, she also made reference to President Obama again on that day.

Two days later, Hochuls office said Darrisaw called the Social Security Administrations 800 number and said I am going to the office tomorrow and take that agent to hell with me before hanging up.

Darrisaw is being held pending a detention hearing on August 23 before U.S. Magistrate Judge Jonathan Feldman.
