Tighter security after Manning video leak

Fort Meade, Md. (AP) - Reporters are seeing tighter security at the sentencing hearing of Army Pfc. Bradley Manning after some courtroom video appeared online.

Military police officers Monday meticulously searched the bags of journalists entering a building at Fort Meade where the Army provides a closed-circuit video feed from the nearby courtroom.

Closed-circuit video is also fed into an overflow trailer for spectators.

The 16-second video on the video-sharing website Vimeo shows the military judge on the bench and Manning at the defense table. The soundtrack includes Manning supporters chanting, "Free Bradley Manning."

In March, someone leaked a courtroom audio recording.

The sentencing hearing is entering its third week at the Army installation near Baltimore.

Manning faces up to 90 years in prison for disclosing reams of classified information through the anti-secrecy group WikiLeaks.
