Former bus monitor pleads guilty to sexually abusing girl

Rochester, N.Y. - A former bus monitor accused of sexually abusing a handicapped girl pleaded guilty Tuesday.

Robert Hoff, 61, of Rochester, pleaded guilty to one count of first-degree sexual abuse.

Hoff inappropriately touched a nine-year-old who is autistic and unable to speak. The abuse happened on a Monroe Transportation bus.

The plea deal requires Hoff to spend six months in jail and serve 10 years probation.

He will also be required to register as a sex offender.

Hoff will be sentenced in September.
