Bradley Manning protester interrupts Obama
Syracuse, N.Y. -- During his speech in Syracuse Tuesday night, President Obama was interrupted by a heckler protesting the sentencing of Bradley Manning.
About six minutes into the speech, the protester began yelling free Bradley Manning.
Manning is a former Army soldier who was sentenced to 35 years in prison for leaking classified information to WikiLeaks.
"As hecklers go, that young lady was very polite," Obama said. "She brought up an issue of importance and that's what America is all about."
Obama spoke at Henninger High School outlining his plan for education reform.
